Produce processing and private label packaging has been Muzzi Family Farms primary business since 1993. We take food safety very seriously, and have made significant investments in facilities, equipment and training to maintain our stellar food safety record.
Our processing plants operate using customized Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and food security programs. They are Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certified, and over the past several years, have consistently received some of the highest scores in the fresh and frozen vegetable industries from independent 3rd party audits. We also make certain the growers, coolers and cold storage facilities we work with operate under strict food safety guidelines.
